COVID-19 (Coronavirus) & Your Wellbeing
Updated: 9 June 2020
At ECT Travel, your well being when travelling with us is something we take seriously.
If the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic has left you feeling anxious about your forthcoming trip, or future travel plans, we want to reassure you and make sure that you are informed of any impacts on your travel plans.
As this is an ongoing situation, we are actively monitoring for any advised restrictions or changes we need to make and will provide updates on this web page.
If you are booked to travel with us, we will also be communicating with you directly with any important updates.
With over 20 years expertise in arranging and delivering quality escorted tours, we are committed to continuing an outstanding service to our customers. The ECT Travel team are currently working from home where, thanks to the wonders of modern technology, we are keeping in touch with each other via email, video calls and instant messaging. More importantly, we are also keeping in touch with all our clients and suppliers. Emails are being picked up and responded to quickly and the office phones have been diverted so when people call, we answer just as we always have.
Of course, international travel restrictions have meant that many of our tour programmes have been cancelled. To date, everyone travelling with us up until 5 September has either received a full refund or chosen to join the tour on revised dates. In the latter cases, all monies already paid have been placed in a protected trust account and the affected customers have each received an additional travel voucher for use on a future tour.
Customer care is at the heart of what we do, and, in these challenging times, that is more important than ever. Be assured that we are here to look after you both now and in the future when we can all enjoy the pleasures of travel once more.
