Bath's Sparkling Christmas Market

Twinkling fairy lights, wooden chalets, the air heady with the scent of ginger and cloves - Bath's brilliant Christmas Market is back and we can't wait! 

Voted one of Europe's 10 Best Christmas Markets, Bath's festive shopping fiesta is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.  170 wooden chalets, each strewn with Christmas lights and piled high with handcrafted Christmas decorations, personalised presents, local food, jewellery and homeware, will pop-up in the city centre from 24th November to 11th December.

Sustainability has long been important to the market organisers. Single-use plastics are not allowed and all stallholders are asked to use environmentally-friendly biodegradable alternatives to common single-use plastic products such as packaging, bags, bottles, straws, containers, cups and cutlery.  There is also a real emphasis on locally produced artisan food and products - this year look out for the special ‘start-up’ carts created for new artisan sellers.
