Day One - Monday 5th June 

Those flying with us from the UK will meet their ECT Tour Manager at Brussels airport and transfer by private coach to Hotel NH Brussels Louise, Chau. de Charleroi 17, 1060 Brussels.  Those who have travelled independently should join the tour at the hotel. Check in is from 15:00. It will be possible to arrange to leave your luggage with reception if your room is not available. 

Late afternoon meet with your Tour Manager for an orientation walk of the local Brussels area

Day Two - Tuesday 6th June 

08:00 - breakfast at the hotel and check out
09:30 - depart hotel by coach for Annick Mertens Flower Workshop
10:45 - arrive Annick Mertens. One hour flower picking, followed by a two-hour workshop and light lunch
15:00/15:30 - depart Annick Mertens for Antwerp
16:00/16:30 - arrive NH Antwerp Centre, Pelikaanstraat 84, 2018 Antwerpen, Belgium. Your Tour Manager can provide an orientation walk of the local area if you wish.

Day Three - Wednesday 7th June 

07:30/08:00 - breakfast at the hotel and check out
09:00 – depart for floral wholesaler Euroflor
11:45 - depart Euroflor for Moneik Vanden Berghe
12:15 - arrive Moneik Vanden Berghe for three-hour workshop and lunch
16:15/16:30- depart Moneik Vanden Berghe for Ghent
16:45/17:00 - arrive NH Gent Belfort, Hoogpoort 63, 9000 Ghent, Belgium. Your Tour Manager can provide an orientation walk of the local area if you wish.

Day Four - Thursday 8th June 2023

09:30 – 11.30 - visit Guy Van Rysseghem
12:15 - 14:00 - lunch in Kortrijk (not included) en route to Viky Vangampelaere

Those who have made their own travel arrangements can return to Brussels airport with the tour/ or stay in Bruges. There are train options from the airport or Bruges to Brussels.

Moniek Vanden Berghe’s work is firmly rooted in the natural world. She will share her techniques in a three hour workshop at her studio near Ghent.

Annick Mertens specialises in simple creations made from natural materials - including, from June to October, plenty of home grown garden roses. You will spend an hour picking flowers and foliage from the fields and gardens surrounding her studio in Verrebroek, before taking part in a two hour workshop.  Read more about Annick on our blog

Viky Vangampelaere's inventive floral creations are inspired by the natural world and the different shapes that she sees around her. You will join her for a two-hour workshop at Wilgenbroek’, the famous Helleborus breeder in Bruges.

Floral designer to the stars, Frederiek Van Pamel has  a shop that is a fabulous feast of flowery inspiration. Fresh blooms sit alongside extraordinary installations, interesting objects d'art and beautiful pieces of furniture.

Brussels

NH Brussels Louise 4*, with its chic, contemporary bedrooms, is located in the city centre, close to premier shopping street, Avenue Louise, as well as many of Brussels’ most famous restaurants, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts (home to Flemish masterpieces) and the beautiful Grand Palace. Antwerp

Bruges

Set in a former 17th century monastery close to the medieval heart of Bruges, the 4* NH Brugge is a mix of old and new; guests sleep in modern bedrooms and eat in the traditional beamed dining room. There is also a pretty terrace and garden.
